Hola Mae. I see you are still alive. Good to see it. I have not looked at your trek for a while, but your pretty face popped into my clouded brain today so i checked in on you. Si Dios quiere, espero que podemos reunir en Ventanas cuando regresamos en enero.

    Pura Vida,

    Su amigo Jay

Awesome pics! That water bar one is my fave. Makes a reader feel like she is there (instead of reading from her bed–definitely not as bad-ass). 🙂

Finally caught up on the blog. Strange to think you’re out there walking while us drones fill up I-5 and consume stuff. You have my numbers. Call me on your approach to Snoqualmie Pass and I’ll come retrieve your band, feed you up, let you sleep the night in beds and couches. Then next morning I’ll fill you up again, head back to the trail head and walk Snoqualmie to Stevens Pass with you.

Wish I had been reading all the way along. Started at the beginning yesterday. Reading the blog backwards is ungainly, but necessary. Keep up the good work, kid.

Hello cousin, no just a final farewell to that mountain we just climbed. I still have 500 miles to go to get thru Washington. But when I get back to LA well paint the town. Maybe in October but not sure. Until then have fun.

Steve, If that is you in the picture at the top of the mountain (back to the camera), I am more than happy to send you another “Fire” T-shirt to replace the one that you are wearing…just thinking about your well being and comfort!
